Our story begins with two boys Abhi and Rohan who meet each other in St. Teresas in their final year. Soon their gang of their friends extends to Shanaya and her friends. They all become thick friends and it appears that nothing can break them until things turns upside down as Abhi and Shanaya fall for each other and the `Student Of the Year` competition begins. As friendships are tested and passions run high, `Student Of The Year` rushes towards an exciting climax.

Update Galaxy ACE S5830 to CyanogenMod 9
Step 1. Download the zip file for the ICS CM9 from here. Click Download@ekajanbi.in. The file name should be the Samsung-Galaxy-Ace-ICS-CM9-Beta-8.zip file which was 125mb file size. Click Download and save it on your PC.
Step 2. Now connect the smartphone to your computer and then move the above firmware zip on the phone’s SDcard. Now disconnect the device from the PC and then proceed and power off the phone.
Step 3 Enter into recovery mode by pressing and holding the menu center button and power button together. In case it boots into normal mode, then you should repeat the action. Remember that this should be done when the phone is OFF.
Step 4 When Clockmod Recovery shows it main screen you need to select the option that says ‘install zip from sdcard’ and then ‘choose zip from sdcard’. Select the zip file you’ve moved at step 2 and then confirm the installation of the new firmware files.
Step 5 When the update is complete you need to get back to the main recovery menu and select ‘reboot system now’. Please note that your phone will perform its first boot with the new custom ROM. Also, this might take a while before loading all the apps and the Android ICS home screen.

However, in case the first boot take too long to load it means that something went wrong and you will need to repeat all the above steps.

Black and white appear to be the only colour options, which is a shame seeing how the iPod touch got a sparkly new makeover last month – although Apple may still surprise us.

The iPad mini will no doubt support the new lightening connector, which is a blow to those with old style accessories, but, if priced correctly, this could be one of Apple’s best ideas and might push them into catering for a market that is unable to afford their more expensive models, therefore making the whole brand accessible to a whole new range of people.

The year was 1997. Apple was a struggling computer company, AOL was a booming Internet service provider, Microsoft was on the verge of releasing Windows 98, and the Web was a very different place. Through the magic of the Wayback Machine, we can travel back in time and revisit the past.

Apple, now the most valuable company in the world, was a struggling computer company back in the ‘90s. Apple’s website from 1997 seems like it’s about a completely different company from the Apple we know today. But even back then, Apple was pushing mobile devices – the eMate 300 in this case, which used Apple’s Newton platform. (It was a flop.)

If you were around in the ‘90s, I’m sure you remember GeoCities. Instead of creating blogs, people created their own personal websites – and they usually looked horrible. GeoCities was shut down in 2009, but it faded away and died many years before.

The New York Times shows us what a newspaper website used to be like. The website attempts to bring the familiar newspaper-style layout to a browser – luckily, newspaper websites have advanced since then. It’s also amusing to see that the early versions of Internet Explorer were considered “complex” in their time.

AltaVista@ekajanbi.in

If you weren’t using Yahoo, there’s a good chance you were using AltaVista. AltaVista now just redirects to Yahoo’s search results, and Yahoo is just a frontend to Microsoft’s Bing.

The White House@ekajanbi.in

The White House didn’t have a shiny website back then – the website’s front page was the “White House Virtual Library.” It offered the ability to browse and search a variety of documents. No splashy front page with the latest news and high-resolution images of the president here, just a glorified search engine with a background that made the content harder to read.

One day, someone will write about how ancient the Web looked back in 2012 and marvel at how backwards we were.
